Linda Fears is a women’s lifestyle expert with 30+ years of experience researching, writing, editing and publishing hundreds of articles on health, fitness, food, diet and nutrition for women and their families. After a long career as an award-winning women’s magazine editor, she decided to follow her passion and create goodfoodrx, a company devoted to nutrition and wellness.

Linda is the former Editor-in-Chief of Family Circle, one of the country’s largest media brands (16+ million monthly readers). During her 12 years leading the magazine, she increased health coverage, focused the food section on simpler, more nutritious recipes, trademarked the monthly feature Healthy Family Dinners, and won dozens of health editorial awards. A recognized food expert, Linda served as a judge on Guy Fieri’s Food Network show, Ultimate Recipe Showdown and on Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen. She spent two years on Starbuck’s Food Advisory Board and was a frequent guest on the Today Show.

In addition, Linda was Editorial Director of Allrecipes magazine, Group Editor of Martha Stewart Living and Martha Stewart Weddings, Rachael Ray Every Day and Eating Well, and Deputy Editor of Parents.

Linda founded goodfoodrx to help women (and their families) learn to eat better and live healthier and happier at all life stages (including post-partum and perimenopause/menopause). As a wife and mother who worked full-time while her three kids were growing up, she uniquely understands the challenges of wanting to feed your family well despite dealing with time constraints, picky eaters, after-school activities that encroach on dinnertime, and general stress and exhaustion. Her personalized approach is rooted in whole-foods nutrition (no calorie-counting, fad shakes or deprivation) and she teaches clients to:

  • lose extra weight and maintain it

  • increase energy

  • decrease bloat

  • end sugar cravings

  • make smart grocery choices

  • create a healthy pantry

  • cook nutritious meals and create weeknight menus

  • order wisely at restaurants

Linda received her B.A. and nutrition certification from Cornell University.
